(Englewood, New Jersey; September 12, 2016) -- The Community Chest will present a community briefing on its new 2016-2019 strategic plan on September 28, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in conference rooms A and B and Gallery Area located at the North entrance. The public is invited to attend the presentation, “Forging a Path into the Future While Staying True to the Mission of our Founders", and help The Chest work with the community to ensure all neighbors have a positive quality of life in the coming years.

Changes in society led The Community Chest's leadership to examine its mission and goals and determine the best methods to serve the needs of the communities of Englewood, Englewood Cliffs and Tenafly, New Jersey. The presentation is the culmination of a lengthy study and review process of the organization's past and future undertaken by a committee of volunteers, facilitated by consultant Kirsten Reichert and chaired by board member Jayanne Tedesco.

We spent the last several months seriously thinking about our future and are pleased to unveil our three-year plan for the community on September 28.
