Rep. Pascrell Introduces Border Tax Bill to Boost U.S. Businesses
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Representative Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ), a member of House Ways and Means Committee, and U.S. Representative Walter B. Jones (R-NC) introduced the bipartisan Border Tax Equity Act, which would mitigate the negative impact of border tax adjustments on U.S. exporters. The bill addresses disadvantages for American exporters – estimated to be $204 billion annually in trade with the European Union alone.

Rep. Pascrell Announces $2 Million for Community College STEM Programs
PATERSON, N.J. – U.S. Representative Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ) announced $1.95 million in U.S. Department of Education grants for the Hispanic Serving Institutions Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (HSI STEM) and Articulation Program. Bergen Community College received $1,121,725 under the grant program and Passaic County Community College received $833,542.

Rep. Pascrell Amendment Passes, Excluding Millionaires from Olympic Tax Break
WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Representative Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, introduced an amendment to H.R. 5946, the United States Appreciation for Olympians and Paralympians Act that passed the House Ways and Means Committee today. This amendment would exclude millionaires from a proposed tax break for Olympic and Paralympic medal winners.

Tyrone Stephens Framed by Detectives from Englewood Police Department (Video)
In August 2014, Marc Stephens, and his brother Tyrone Stephens, filed a federal civil rights complaint against the City of Englewood, Englewood Police Department, Det. Marc McDonald, Det. Desmond Singh, Det. Claudia Cubillos, Det. Santiago Incle Jr., Det. Nathaniel Kinlaw, Nina C. Remson Attorney At Law, LLC, and Comet Law Offices, LLC. The video presents the evidence revealing several detectives from the Englewood Police Department conspired to fabricate evidence to convict Tyrone Stephens, a minor at the time. District Court Judge William J. Martini also joined in the conspiracy to hide the truth.

Marc Stephens submits opening brief in $76M false imprisonment lawsuit against City of Englewood and Englewood Police Department
Today, in the case titled, Marc Stephens, et al v. City of Englewood, et al, plaintiff Marc and Tyrone Stephens submitted their opening brief to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Marc Stephens is asking the Appeals Court to reverse the decision of District Court Judge William J. Martini who dismissed the civil complaint stating that the Englewood Police Department had probable cause to arrest Tyrone Stephens.
Northern NJ Community Foundation Awards Grant to Fund for Armenian Relief

Rep. Pascrell Announces $300 Million to Support Veterans' Families
PATERSON, N.J. – U.S. Representative Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ) announced that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has awarded $300 million in grants to help very low-income Veteran Families prevent homelessness among low-income veteran families. "No one who has served our country should ever go without a basic need like housing being met," said Rep. Pascrell, a veteran of the U.S. Army and Army Reserve.
