On February 14, 2022, Marc Stephens, filed a federal civil complaint in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey against the City of Englewood, Englewood Police Department, CareOne Management, LLC, and several individuals for multiple violations of his constitutional rights including right to due process, illegal Search, and defamation of character.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Congressman Donald Norcross (D-NJ-01) introduced today, alongside Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY-21), the Military Spouse Student Loan Deferment Act, bipartisan legislation to allow a military spouse of an active duty servicemember to defer their student loans for 90 days while they are transitioning through a permanent change of station (PCS) move.

With the renegotiated North America Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) coming into force on July 1, U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ-09) today led 59 of his House colleagues in a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo calling on him to work to secure the release of Mexican labor lawyer Susana Prieto Terrazas, who was arrested and detained by the State of Tamaulipas in Mexico on June 8, 2020 on trumped-up legal accusations.

In the $76 Million case titled Marc Stephens vs City of Englewood, docket no. 19-1447, Appellant Marc Stephens has filed a Petition for Writ of Mandamus against all defendants, and Judges Anthony Joseph Scirica, Luis Felipe Restrepo, and Dennis Michael Fisher of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. The mandamus also includes Judge William J. Martini from the United States District Court in Newark.

Heavyweight Champ Jack Johnson Pardoned after 105 years by President Donald Trump
WASHINGTON — President Trump on Thursday pardoned Jack Johnson, the first black heavyweight champion, who was convicted in 1913 of transporting a white woman across state lines. Mr. Trump signed the pardon for Johnson during an Oval Office ceremony, sitting at the Resolute Desk and flanked by Sylvester Stallone, Lennox Lewis and other fighters.
