Job Ramos-Aguilar of Cliffside Park Charged With Sex Assault and Child Endangerment

Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal announced the arrest of 28 year-old JOB N. RAMOS-AGUILAR (DOB:: 08/04/1988) of 128 Palisade Avenue, Apt. 1, Cliffside Park, New Jersey on charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault by Contact, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The arrest came about as the result of a joint investigation conducted by members of the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit under the direction of Officer in Charge, Deputy Chief Robert ANZILOTTI and the Fairview Police Department under the direction of Chief Martin KAHN.

On Tuesday, June 28, 2016, it was reported to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office by the Division of Child Protection and Permanency that between 2006 and 2014, Job N. RAMOS-AGUILAR engaged in sexual activity with a juvenile acquaintance in Fairview, New Jersey.

An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and the Fairview Police Department was initiated and it was learned from the investigation that RAMOS-AGUILAR engaged in the sexual activity with the juvenile while he/she was under the age of 13 and that the sexual abuse continued for approximately five years.

Based on the investigation and interviews, Job N. RAMOS-AGUILAR was arrested and charged with one count each of Aggravated Sexual Assault, Sexual Assault by Sexual Contact, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

The Honorable Walter F. SKROD, J.S.C., of Bergen County Superior Court set Job N. RAMOS-AGUILAR's bail at $250,000.00 with no 10 percent option. He is to have no contact with the victim and must surrender his passport as conditions of bail.

RAMOS-AGUILAR was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail. Job N. RAMOS-AGUILAR is scheduled to make his first appearance on August 1, 2016 at 1:30 PM in Central Judicial Processing Court.

Acting Prosecutor Grewal states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
